Jeremy Reid’s acting training includes acting classes at Georgia State college and numerous workshops over the years. Some of his acting credits include John Smith in Run For Your Wife, Rudolph in Rudolph Really, and Jack in Laughing Stock. In Live Arts Theatre’s A Christmas Carol, The Radio Show, Jeremy will be playing Fred, Peter Cratchitt, and Belle’s Husband.
We are very happy to have this fine talent in our show. Here’s a little peek into his perspective on our show:
Q: Is this your first show with Live Arts Theatre?
A: Yes and I hope it’s not the last!
Q: What attracted you to auditioning for A Christmas Carol?
A: I loved the story since I was a kid and the idea of it being a radio play gives me a chance to show off my voice acting ability.
Q: How can you relate to your characters?
A: I think I’m most like Fred because I love Christmas but I know people who can be a bit of a Scrooge. Peter reminds me of myself as a kid, waiting for Christmas dinner. With Belle’s Husband, I just imagine I’ve seen one of my real life wife’s exes and I relate to that character right away.
Q: As the holidays approach, how will working on A Christmas Carol affect your attitude and excitement towards Christmas?
A: It will help me get into the spirit of Christmas and reinvigorate my efforts to make Christmas a memorable day for everyone in my life this year and, hopefully, years to come!
