Rodney L. Johnson was bitten by the acting bug many years ago. He has been involved in countless performances and appearances. Rodney finds pleasure in being able to depict the lives of others. Acting gives him the opportunity to entertain and educate individuals about situations, causes, and events that involves our lives and communities. Rodney hopes that while serving as Co-Chair, he can help to take LAT to a new level so that the LAT family can start getting the recognition it so much deserves.

Rich is a computer nerd who dabbled in the theater as a kid at school and church. He left the theatre for decades of trombone playing, engineering, Finnish language, and neuroscience, and loves that Live Arts Theatre gives him many chances to be involved again, albeit so far mostly backstage.

Blair Sanders comes onto the Live Arts Theatre Board with plenty of board experience, being involved in various organizations in college (including Student Government Association) as well as 6 years on Georgia Gwinnett College’s Alumni Association Board. She has been involved in theatre for almost 5 years, 3 of them working with Live Arts, participating in various productions, workshops, and even being a part of the 2019/2020 directing intensive. She’s excited to blend all these experiences to make the LAT board productive and helping LAT grow in this weird time. Blair is an office manager for XL Softek Inc, and serves in the youth ministry for Berean Bible Church in Loganville.

Barbara’s experience with Live Arts Theatre dates back to 2012 when she and her young daughter were cast in Brothers Grimm Spectacularaton. Not often a mom and child share a stage so she knew she found a group of special theater people. She was thrilled to come back for 20th Century Blues in 2019. She’s been cast, crew, and supporter of local community theaters in Gwinnett County for over a decade. She joined the Live Arts Theatre board to promote the mission and vision to provide opportunities for all to participate in community theater. Barbara is an environmental professional with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division with 30+ years experience.
