Becca Parker (Rosie) is no stranger to the Live Arts stage. As Founding Artistic Director, she has had a hand in every single Live Arts production! You probably remember her recently as the director of Dracula and Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged/Revised earlier this season. She was also the pit pianist for last seasons Whistle Down the Wind. Becca has been seen on the LAT stage in shows such as Last 5 Years and Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know. Audiences are in for a rare treat, as Becca is normally seen directing and designing the shows, and is stepping back onstage for “Cabaret”. We had to run to catch up, but here is the skinny on Becca Parker.
You have done so many shows with Live Arts. What do you have in store for audiences with “Cabaret”?
“What can audiences look forward to with Cabaret? Well for one, great singing and dancing, and many surprising twists. This production offers a take on a classic piece of musical theatre that has not been seen before.”
