Gabrielle Wood has just finished a run of It’s a Wonderful Life, here at Live Arts Theatre. It was done as a radio play, allowing her to stretch herself and play the roles of young George, and also George’s son Pete. We are so happy to have her back on our stage in High School Confidential playing the role of Crystal. Gabrielle attends Gwinnett Online Campus and sells her own artwork. To date, she has performed in four shows at Hebron Christian Academy, and one show at Live Arts Theatre.
Lets get to know her a little more through the questions she answered for us:
What is it about High School Confidential that speaks to you as a student and an actor?
This show honestly portrays what high school is like. It tears open the curtain that kids hide behind from adults and says, “This is the truth and it’s not pretty.” Personally, it is very easy to connect with all the characters being in high school myself. I even catch things happening in my own life that are portrayed in the show. As an actor, it makes it easier to really put my heart and soul into it when I can personally connect with the play.
Name two fun facts about you.
- This is my first time playing a modern character and
