As we begin weekend two of our three-week run, we’d like to introduce you to another one of our players in our production of Rumplestiltskin. Ellie Hodgson is one of our more enthusiastic actors and has taken on the role of Rumplestiltskin with enthusiasm and wild abandon. It is exciting to see this young thespian tackle the role! Ellie is 12 years old and in the 7th grade at Sutton Middle School. This is her first production with Live Arts Theatre, but she is not new to the stage, she takes acting very seriously as she plans to continue in the theatre arts and school and one day make acting her profession.
Here’s a little peek into her personality:
Q: Name two fun facts about yourself:
A: I am a competition cheerleader, and I have one brother named Nich.
Q: Why did you want to be a part of Rumplestiltskin?
A: Because I love the story and it was a great opportunity for me.
Q: Why should audiences come see it?
A: The cast worked really hard on it and it’s a kid friendly, funny plot that has moments of humor for all ages.
Q: What do audiences have to look forward to?
A: Audiences should look forward to lots of humor, as well as hilarious interactions between the characters.
Q: In what ways are you like your character?
A: I am like my character in our shared sarcasm. I also get kinda grumpy when I don’t get what I want!
Q: What do you enjoy doing when you are not on stage?
A: When I am not onstage, I enjoy cheering, hanging out with my bf’s and reading!
