Brooke Schlosser comes to the Live Arts Theatre stage with a wealth of experiences! She holds a BFA from Auburn University and an MFA from The New School for Drama in New York City.
Brooke has been in many stage shows including ; Godspell, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and A Flea in Her Ear. Her NY credits include; Richard III, Orestes 2.0, Stagedoor, Broadway’s Rising Stars, and world premiere at Playwright’s Horizons, Barron, CA. She has also done Film/TV work including: Sue Kinney in feature film “Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You” (starring Toby Regdo, Ellen Burstyn, Lucy Liu, and Marcia Gay Harden), and Tracy in Law & Order: SVU, episode, The Spectacle.
Brook is playing Imogene Meadows in Stealing Home. She generously answered some questions to help us get to know a little more about her and the show:
Q: Is this your first show at Live Arts, and what other shows have you done with us?
A: First one.
Q: What attracted you to audition for Stealing Home?
A: My friend and cast mate, Cat Roche, mentioned the audition!
Q: Name two fun facts about you?
A: I have a Chihuahua named Franklin, he’s my baby. I adore Lady Gaga.
Q: Why should audiences come see Stealing Home?
A: Everyone loves a good farce!
Q: Compare yourself to your character.
A: I have always been interested in the other worldly, and what lies beyond this world. I think Imogene has an interesting outlook on life and how we all go through it.
