Meet the cast of The Spoon River Project- Frank Scozzari

frankscozzariFrank Scozzari is a Live Arts Theatre fixture. He’s not always on our stage, but if you’re a regular, you’ve purchased candy from him, or he’s directed you to your seat. One of our favorite team players will be playing Actor 4 (multiple roles include Willard Fluke, Hamilton Greene, and Robert Davidson) in our production of The Spoon River Project. Mr. Scozzari holds a PHD from Florida State University- School of theatre and can be found on and off stage all around town. For example, he recently played Oscar in The Odd Couple at Lionheart Theatre.

Frank was gracious enough to answer a few of our probing questions:

Q: Is this your first show at Live Arts, and what other shows have you done with us?

A: This is not my first show, I was in Cabaret as Herr Shultz, summer 2015.

Q: What attracted to to audition for The Spoon River Project?

A: I was attracted by the example of American town life in history… the timelessness of it. Also, the beauty of the literature, and the ensemble acting experience.

Q: Why should audiences come to see The Spoon River Project?

A: The beauty of the poetry, to see how the daily issues of life  and the lifelong problems people experience…. do not change over time.
