We got the chance to sit down with her and pick her brain, but first let’s get to know a little about her and the show:

Q: Name two fun facts about you?

A: I am a trained classical pianist and I love to build giant gingerbread houses.

Q: What attracted you to audition for Stealing Home?

A: I was attracted to this script because I love farce, and a farce set in a funeral home was just too crazy to pass up. As soon as I started reading it, I had a vision for how the show would look, and when I started cracking up 2 pages in, I knew our audiences would love it.

Q: Why should audiences come see Stealing Home?

A: It’s hilarious! Seriously, you might want to purchase some Depends for yourself, because you will wet yourself laughing. It is nonstop actions, and many of the lines are hilarious in itself. Also, some of the facial expressions I am already seeing from our actors are priceless.

Prepare for hilarity at “Stealing Home”

Q: Can you tell us how Stealing Home fits into our Season theme?

A: Oh, absolutely, Our season theme is death and taxes. Stealing Home takes place at the Green Meadows funeral home. So that’s where it comes from… in the purest form, it is a place of death. I also think that with Beulah having lost her son and always having hope that your child will come home, but there is always that possibility that maybe you’ll find a body somewhere. And to confirm that your child has died or maybe you’ll never get that closure.

Q: Can you give us a preview of the (design area) for Stealing Home?

A: The show is set so the audience is on 3 sides of the action, and the show happens as if the audience is in the lobby of the Green Meadows Funeral Home. The action comes at you literally from all angles. Each side is a totally different show, so I would recommend seeing it more than once.
