Show logo for The Tin Woman. A landscape rectangle with a blue and pink sunrise in the background. There is a black silhouette of a woman holding a glowing heart in the foreground. In the upper right corner is the Live Arts logo. The logo says Live Arts Theatre in red stencil font and Where the Arts live in blue cracked font below it at an angle sloping upward from left to right. At the bottom center, it says The Tin Woman by Sean Grennan in gold font.Instead of relishing life after her heart transplant, Joy enters a downward spiral, unsure whether she truly deserves a second chance. Meanwhile, Alice and Hank mourn the loss of their son, Jack, whose heart was used to save Joy. At a friend’s urging, Joy tracks down Jack’s family to find closure. But are Alice, Hank, and their daughter Sammy ready to accept Jack’s death?
Based on a true story, The Tin Woman uses humor and pathos to explore loss, family, and what it means to be given new life.

Recommended for audiences age 13+ due to infrequent, moderate adult language.  (Why did it get this rating?)
