Our Flipped Show is our fundraising show each season. Taking a playful nudge at the community theatre tradition of casting whoever you have (the show MUST go on!) we have taken a public domain show, and flipped the casting for the roles. This gives our actors an opportunity to play roles they never would have an opportunity to tackle otherwise.

Hoping for a quiet weekend in the country with some guests, David Bliss, a novelist, and his wife, Judith, a retired actress, find quiet an impossible dream when their high-spirited children, Simon and Sorel, appear with guests of their own. A houseful of drama waits to be ignited as misunderstandings and tempers flare. With Judith’s new flame and David’s newest literary “inspiration” keeping company as the children follow suit, the Bliss family lives up to its name as the “quiet weekend” comes to an exhausting and hilarious finale worthy of Feydeau.

Shakespeare’s gender-bending classic gets bent in a new way in Twelfth Night-Flipped! This is our annual “flipped” show which makes fun of traditional gender “types” using outlandish satire. Join us for a hilarious twist on a classic tale of love and mistaken identity set in an island resort town.
