Synopsis:

Somewhere in America, an army of pre-teen competitive dancers plots to take over the world. And if their new routine is good enough, they’ll claw their way to the top at Nationals in Tampa Bay. A play about ambition, growing up, and how to find our souls in the heat of it all.

Pay attention to: Notes on casting in the play. Adults of any age are to play characters between 11-14. These teenagers talk about topics such as: masturbation, sex, implied sexual assault.

Production Notes: Choreographed dances are performed between scenes. A stage light falls onto the stage nearly hitting one of the dances. Play takes place in multiple locations. One character menstruates on stage and uses the blood as face paint. Onje character breaks her leg onstage and the bone is visible in the wound.
