It’s often said that the clothes make the man, so we are betting that the costumes make the character. LAT costume designer Andrea Hermitt is back for Cabaret and is excited to be co-designing with her daughter Jordan. Andrea has also done costumes for Whistle Down the Wind, Dorothy Meets Alice, and The Complete Works of Shakespeare. She has a very good side…and a very bad side. We talked with Andrea’s good side (wink wink) to get a preview on the costumes for Cabaret.
What about the production excites you most?
I can’t wait to dress/undress Eduardo (Emcee).
