Our Flipped Show is our fundraising show each season. Taking a playful nudge at the community theatre tradition of casting whoever you have (the show MUST go on!) we have taken a public domain show, and flipped the casting for the roles. This gives our actors an opportunity to play roles they never would have an opportunity to tackle otherwise.
In 2018, we are excited to present you with:
Much Ado About Nothing: Flipped!
By: William Shakespeare
Directed by Becca Parker and Bethany Oliver
Shakespeare’s classic comedy of love and mistaken identity is turned on it’s head in this nod to the community theatre tradition of “the show must go on!”. It’s the Live Arts Flipped show, where the men play the women’s roles and the women play the men’s roles. We will be setting the show in the mid 1970’s, so grab your go-go boots, put on your polyester leisure suit and come join us for frivolity!
Show dates: April 19-22, 2018.
